Can chocolate and candy really pair with wine, or is it a pairing nightmare waiting to happen? Spend 90 minutes taking the guesswork out of wine and chocolate pairing with internationally renowned sommelier Bertil Jean-Chronberg. Through a playful series of tastings, discover why sweetness, bitterness, acidity, tannins and texture can make certain combinations surprisingly delicious, and others frighteningly wrong.
Taste different wines alongside a selection of Halloween chocolates and candies, compare the combinations for yourself, and learn a few simple principles you can use at home long after Halloween is over.
As always at Bonde, expect serious wine without the seriousness: an intimate group, plenty of tasting and conversation, and a relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere where experimentation is encouraged, and questions are always welcome.

We're Bonde Fine Wine Shop and Tasting Bar. We're a small wine shop in Harvard Square that specializes in eco-responsible wines, primarily from the US, and neo-artisan accessories. We also are a tasting bar, where you can come and sit for a flight of wines with food anytime we are open.
