Lovin' Spoonfuls' Season workshop series is back, this time with award-winning chef Jamie Bissonnette (Coppa, Toro, Little Donkey, Toro NYC)! Join us to experience one of the world’s most celebrated dishes: Paella (like you’ve never had it before!) Chef Bissonnette will be teaching the basics of cooking this versatile and delicious dish right in your own kitchen. Workshop attendees will learn multiple preparations of paella while sipping wine, interacting with chef Bissonnette, and tasting some of the food that made him one of Boston’s (and New York’s) favorite chefs!


The workshop will begin discussing the background and basics of cooking this iconic Spanish dish, followed by a cooking demonstration in which Bissonnette will walk attendees through making paella at home (from start to finish!). Learn why paella is a must-have dish in your culinary repertoire, as it utilizes whole, fresh ingredients and creates minimal food waste -- something at the very heart of Spanish cuisine!


Roughly 25 percent of the food and beverages purchased in households is wasted -- and, 50 percent of all food waste happens at the consumer level. Through the Season workshop series, Lovin’ Spoonfuls offers informative cooking demonstrations which focus on culinary traditions and cuisines that celebrate using whole ingredients. Each ticket supports Plenty, Lovin’ Spoonfuls’ culinary nutrition program that provides the individuals we serve with the culinary know-how to empower them to feed themselves and their families.
