JAE is thrilled to be taking a site-specific production, Ouvèti, to the City of Somerville, in Seven Hills Park. Appolon’s latest work in development portrays feelings of isolation, fear, and ultimately hope and connection that people experiencing trauma might cycle through. Bringing together these emotions and experiences through dance, combined with the soundscape created by musician Val Jeanty. Thoughtful discussion and question time led by Appolon follows each performance.
The event repeats at 5pm and 7pm. This event is supported by the City of Somerville and the Somerville Arts Council and is a part of their Covid-Relief and BIPOC Support grant program.
