Enjoy a self-guided walking tour of the 21st Annual Outdoor Sculpture at Maudslay Exhibit September 20 - October 10 featuring over 50 unique site specific sculptures created by local artists addressing this year’s theme, ‘Passage’ within the magnificent fields, forests, and formal gardens of Maudslay State Park in Newburyport, MA. Trail head signs will provide a map with sculpture locations and instructions for downloading a simple 'virtual catalog' including the map, photos of each piece, artist statements, and their bios. When viewing the show please bring your phone, wear a mask, follow social distancing guidelines, travel in small groups and if possible attend on a weekday to reduce park numbers. Outdoor Sculpture at Maudslay is the recipient of a Massachusetts Cultural Council Gold Star Award, recently published Site Specific, 20 Years of Outdoor Sculpture at Maudslay, and in spring 2021 plans to celebrate its 20th +1 Retrospective Exhibit at Riverwalk Brewery and the Newburyport Firehouse Gallery.
