About Outdoor Oven Cooking: Pizza
Powisset Farm has a NEW outdoor oven and we want to show you how to make pizza in it! In this four-hour class, Marty Pearson, a master bricklayer who built the Powisset oven, demonstrates the process of making pizza from start to finish. He’ll show you how he makes his dough to cooking it perfectly using the outdoor oven. Vegetables from Powisset Farm will be incorporated as toppings. At the end of the class, participants will enjoy the pizza al fresco or take their pizza home.

Cooking demonstration and partially hands-on learning experience.
Instruction from an experienced, top-notch instructor.
Recipes to take home.
A meal to enjoy on-site or to take with you.
Class is limited to 8 participants to follow Covid-19 safety guidelines. Pre-registration is required 2 days prior to a class or event. If it is within 2 days and you wish to register, please email [email protected] or call 508.785.0339 to find out if there is space remaining.
COVID-19 Guidelines: Due to the state-mandated Covid-19 guidelines, participants will be set up at stations 6 feet apart and required to wear masks during portions of the class when the six-foot guideline cannot apply (i.e. gathering around the cooking area to watch the instructor).

Cancellation Policy: In the event that a program is canceled due to severe weather, low enrollment, or other circumstances, we will notify you as soon as possible by email and issue you a full refund or transfer into another class within 14 days of the cancellation. If you cannot attend a program as planned, contact Powisset Farm 7 days prior to the start of the program to receive a full refund. Refunds will not be granted for registration cancellations placed fewer than 7 days before the start of the program. We offer transfers to other classes or events with 48 hours of the class. There are no refunds for missed classes. The Trustees reserves the right to change program locations, schedules, or instructors when necessary. Note: Summer Camps and our inns and campgrounds each have separate cancellation policies.
