Since 2011, the Black Seed Writers Group has been providing a weekly space for writers experiencing homelessness. Not a workshop, not a classroom, not a ministry, not therapy, but a place to write. From the heart of the city, for twelve years, these writers have sent out a steady stream of poetry, memoir, reportage and prophetic witness.
Join James Parker, group founder and Atlantic staff writer, and the Black Seed writers for an evening of readings from their work.
To attend, please register on the Event website.
Accessibility Notice: We strive to make our events accessible. To request a disability accommodation and/or language services, please contact the Adult Programs Department at [email protected] or 617-859-2129 by November 22. Please allow at least two weeks to arrange for accommodations.
