Ali Gray Gallery is pleased to present a solo exhibition of work by Christopher Roddick, opening Friday, June 19, 2026, and continuing through July 2, 2026, at 338 Commercial Street in Provincetown.
An opening reception will be held Friday, June 19 from 6–9 PM and is free and open to the public.
A longtime favorite among Provincetown collectors, Roddick is known for paintings that celebrate the visual character of coastal life. His subjects include weathered oars, buoys, boats, life jackets, swimmers, and other familiar maritime forms that have become signatures of his work.
Roddick's paintings are distinguished by their extraordinary use of paint and texture. Through richly layered surfaces and dimensional application of paint, his work often blurs the line between painting and sculpture, inviting viewers to experience both the image and the physical presence of the artwork.
The exhibition also marks the continuation of Roddick's longstanding relationship with Provincetown collectors who first discovered his work through Stewart Clifford Gallery. Ali Gray Gallery is proud to continue representing Roddick's work and introducing it to new audiences while maintaining connections with the many collectors who have followed his artistic journey over the years.
