Open Newbury Street is back for 2026, turning Boston's most famous one-mile stretch of shops, restaurants, and galleries into a pedestrian playground every Sunday it runs. From Berkeley Street to Massachusetts Avenue, the full width of Newbury Street is yours — no dodging traffic, no fighting for sidewalk space.
The street goes car-free from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. each Open Newbury Sunday. Parking restrictions kick in at 5:00 a.m. In the event of severe weather, the event is cancelled by Friday evening and not rescheduled.
