Unearthed Music and Poetry Open Mic is happy to return for our LAST event of 2019. We're very pleased to feature poet Timothy Gager and songwriter Paul Hansen of The Grownup Noise.

We hope you'll swing by and share a piece or two with us - the vibe at home.stead is very much one of a listening room, and our all ages space is safe for all.

Timothy is the author of fifteen books of fiction and poetry. He has had over 600 works of fiction and poetry published, of which fifteen have been nominated for the Pushcart Prize. He has also been nominated for a Massachusetts Book Award, The Best of the Web Award, The Best Small Fictions Anthology and his work has been read on National Public Radio. Timothy is the Fiction Editor of The Wilderness House Literary Review, and the founding co-editor of The Heat City Literary Review. A graduate of the University of Delaware, Timothy lives in Dedham, Massachusetts with some fish and two rabbits, and he is employed as a social worker. He is currently seeking representation for his third novel, Joe the Salamander, a semi-finalist for The Holland Prize.
Find Timothy online at http://www.timothygager.com/ and on Facebook at Timothy Gager, Writer, Public FB Page.

Since releasing their self-titled debut in 2007, Boston's The Grownup Noise have evolved into a rousing innovative pop-music outfit, bridging the gap between Americana and Indie Rock music. With a genuine respect for every style of music, this band and it's songwriter, Paul Hansen, are song obsessed. And more than happy to garner quotes like this from The Onion A.V. Club: "The Grownup Noise's best asset, however, is the songwriting, with lines of love and the changing seasons coming out as gently and colorful as the music itself".
