Passim's Open Mic is all ages and all are welcome! Performance order is established by lottery. You can add your name to the list beginning at 6:30 PM, and the order will be pulled at 7:30 PM. If you arrive late, you may add your name to the end of the list until 8:30 PM. Each performer gets 2 songs, or 10 minutes, whichever comes first. Originals are encouraged, but covers are also welcome! We also welcome other forms of performance, like poetry, stories, etc. No amps or drum sets, please. Live performance only; no prerecorded tracks may be used. A keyboard will be set up for your use.
If there are more than 30 sign-ups before 7:30pm, each performer will only get 1 song/5 minutes. Performers are welcome to play a second song if they'd like to wait until everyone has played once. Then the list will begin again from the top (and in the same order) for a second round.
