Onstage Dance Co. Auditions

Onstage Dance Co. is holding auditions for Season 30 and they're open to adult dancers of all backgrounds across four styles: Jazz, Commercial, Contemporary, and Tap.

What makes Onstage unique is its audition format. Dancers don't audition for specific pieces or choreographers. Instead, each dancer receives a level (1-3) in their chosen style(s) and is then free to sign up for any piece at or below that level. It's a flexible, low-pressure way to get on stage.

Auditions take place Sunday, March 29 at Paula Terenzi's Dance Complex in Malden. Sessions run throughout the afternoon — Tap at 12:00 PM, Commercial at 1:15 PM, Jazz at 2:30 PM, and Contemporary at 3:45 PM. Dancers may audition in one or multiple styles.

The Season 30 rehearsal period runs April 12 through June 17, with weekly one-hour rehearsals per piece, leading to performances on June 20.

A $25 tuition deposit is required to register, applied toward tuition if you join the company.
