Learn to play one of the world's most famous songs on the ukulele in this free workshop in Zoom.
At its simplest, Auld Lang Syne can be accompanied with just three chords.
To make it interesting, let's insert additional chords.
To make it even more interesting, let's modulate to another key.
Which strum patterns work well? A slow strum on each chord? A Calypso strum pattern? A country strum?
If you like to fingerpick, you may consider the Alberti accompaniment.
Usually at this time, every week, we get together for Three Chord Thursday. However, as we are taking a break until the second Thursday in January, let's get together anyway to explore different ways to spice up a well-known tune.
This Zoom session will be recorded and edited for Three Chord Thursday Youtube Channel at https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLLd1dAV0InDNnxsWlLe3UkcJJXdcO0A7H
