On the Same Page was created by students at Emerson College, along with professor Cathryn Edelstein. Each semester the students create a campaign for a different Boston Public school. This semester we will be working with the talented students and faculty of McCormack Middle School in Dorchester, MA. The list of books on the wish list is created by the faculty and students from the benefiting school and reflects the diversity and representation of the student body. When young readers see themselves represented in the stories they read, they want to read more because they feel inspired, empowered, and self-confident. Together, we can create positive change in our local school system, because every student should have the opportunity to be part of a story. Donate a book today!
