On the Same Page was created by students at Emerson College. Each semester the students create a campaign for a different Boston Public school. This year we are campaigning for the Excel High School in Southie! The list of books on the wish list is created by the faculty and students from the benefiting school and reflects the diversity and representation of the student body. When young readers see themselves represented in the stories they read, they want to read more because they feel inspired, empowered, and self-confident.
