The Old North Church & Historic Site will host a virtual tour of Boston’s oldest surviving church on Wednesday, June 9, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Online participants will experience an hour-long exploration of Old North Church, led by Education Manager TJ Todd, that will include an up-close look at Old North’s art and artifacts, including the famous box pews, 17th century cherubs and the organ from 1759. Viewers will learn about the history of the site, including the events that led up to the fateful lantern signal on the evening of April 18, 1775 which ignited the American Revolution. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask the Old North’s Education Mr. Todd questions during a live Q&A. Tickets are $15 with proceeds supporting the Old North Foundation’s year-round virtual and onsite programs, which aim to inspire children and adults alike to consider the ways in which they can build a more just and equitable world.
