This 90-minute concert brings you inside the experience of a recording of NPR’s From the Top. Young musicians from Boston and across America will perform and share stories with host and concert pianist Christopher O’Riley. The show is a fun and easy way for families with children ages 7 and up to experience classical music and get to know some inspiring young people.


The recording will feature special guests, the internationally-renowned trio Time for Three! Comprised of violinist Nicolas (Nick) Kendall, violinist (and From the Top Alum!) Charles Yang, and double-bassist Ranaan Meyer, Time for Three defies any traditional genre classification, happily and infectiously. With an uncommon mix of virtuosity and showmanship, the American trio performs music from Bach to Brahms and beyond.
