The North Shore Youth Leaders, a coalition of North Shore high school students working to better the lives of their peers, have planned a North Shore Teen Summer Send-off (formerly known as Teen Mental Health Day) on Saturday, June 17th from 12-3pm at the McPherson Youth Center and Innocenti Park in Beverly.


The event aims to provide an opportunity for high school students to have fun and de-stress at the end of the school year. The event is completely free and will feature throwback field-day games like egg and spoon races and tug-of-war, crafts like friendship bracelets or pin-back buttons to put on backpacks, and free food from Flip The Bird and Salerno's Pizza. There will even be a plate smashing station, therapy dogs, resource tables, a live DJ, and free raffle prizes available. We will also be providing free transportation from Gloucester High School to the event and back. Students or parents can email Chelsea at [email protected] to reserve a spot on the bus.
