In collaboration with Sympli Whitney Productionz, Hovey Players brings you an evening of Nina Simone & Hip Hop with nationally renowned artist Valerie Stephens and her Blessings. Valerie Stephens has partnered with hip hop artist Yuki Kanesaka to bring to the stage the power of Nina Simone for today's artists and their appreciators. Featuring local musicians Zayra Pola (Drums), Frank Wilkins (Piano/Keyboard), Daniel Day (Bassist) and Slam Poet Art Collins.
