A premier documentary film screening of Free to All.
Free to All is set in Boston and follows the moving, personal journeys of individuals striving to master an additional language. Through their participation in the Boston Public Library's English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) program, they find not only educational resources but also immense warmth, support, and a vital sense of community through diverse learning activities. This film is a result of a collaborative project where BPL's ESOL students went behind the camera to tell their own stories.
The premiere event is more than just a film screening about ESOL students as filmmakers and their experiences, it's a celebration of the power of community storytelling and language learning.
Come celebrate these new voices and the spirit of the BPL community.
