New England Lace Group: Annual Retreat and Workshops

Are you a fan of lace making? Would you like to learn? The local lace enthusiasts will gather for workshops and education this spring--join us to learn or improve your skills.

Our annual retreat and workshops will be held from Thursday, May 14 to Sunday, May 17, 2020. Once again, we will be at Rolling Ridge Retreat and Conference Center in North Andover, Massachusetts.

Our teachers for this year will be:

•Allie Marguccio who will be teaching Idrija lace. Tom Marguccio will be selling Idrija lace supplies.
•Holly Van Sciver will be offering beginning, intermediate or advanced Torchon, Bedfordshire, Bucks Point, Lester, Honiton, Russian, Hungarian, contemporary lace and more. Holly will also be our vendor.
•Jill Hawkins will be teaching a beginner bobbin lace class for those who are new to lacemaking, or those who have been away from lacemaking for a while and need to go back to basics. This class will be subsidized by NELG.

Registration is open from February 1 through April 15. Paid registrations received by March 15 will receive up to $20 early bird discount on accommodations and workshop fees. Workshop fees are unchanged from 2019, but accommodation fees are higher due to a price increase from the retreat house. More detailed information is available at the link.
