As the world faces a crisis with an unprecedented number or North Atlantic right whale deaths this past summer and challenges for whale species everywhere, Women Working for Oceans (W20) will feature Dr. Asha de Vos, award-winning founder and director of the Sri Lankan Blue Whale Project, to be the keynote speaker for "THINK BIG: A passion lived. An ocean saved." W20 is a group of Boston area women seeking to raise awareness and champion causes that protect the oceans, and this is the group's annual spring lecture and luncheon event. At the event, they will give a W20 Ocean Spirit Award to an individual doing inspiring grassroots work to protect the blue planet. The networking time and lecture is free and open to the public. Tickets to the luncheon are $100.
