Building on longstanding partnerships with Dell, SAP, vmware and other major employers, Neurodiversity in the Workplace is growing and recently established a Boston hub! We're kicking off a new chapter of impact with a free event welcoming all--job seekers, employers and anyone interested in creating a more representative, equitable workforce.
Keynote Speakers:
> Dr. Temple Grandin (renowned advocate, author and professor of animal studies at Colorado State)
> Assemblymember Yuh-Line Niou (first Asian American and openly autistic woman to represent District 65, lower Manhattan, in the NY State legislature)
Panel Discussion:
Intersectionality and the Future of Neurodiversity Hiring
Success Stories:
Employers will share successes in adapting the hiring process to avoid bias, and tapping the talent and potential of autistic and other neurodivergent individuals.
Themes:
We will explore the meaning and value of neurodiversity at work, how it intersects with identities of race, gender and sexuality, and ways to eliminate the biases in hiring that prevent inclusion.
Key takeaways will be published and provided to all attendees.
