N+T Asks: How does art offer hope to artists and the public?

Join us Friday, April 24 at 12:30 pm our next “N+T Asks” conversation. This week Assistant Curator Leah Triplett Harrington asks you and our guests, artist and N+T alum, Stephanie Cardon, and N+T Board Member, Founder and CEO of eu2be Charla Jones, "How does art offer hope to artists and the public?" Together we’ll talk about where we’re finding hope right now, making art an expression of hope, how hope can be an important catalyst for change, and on how the hopes we have today might lead us to action in the post-pandemic world. We’ll start with a 30-minute conversation with Stephanie and Charla and then open up the conversation to all participants to share your questions, ideas, and perspectives. Each session of “N+T Asks” features a 30-minute conversation with a pair of special guests, facilitated by a member of the N+T team followed by a 30-minute open discussion that allows for learning, exchange, and questions, from the participants. Sessions will be hosted live and recordings will be posted to our blog, the N+T Journal.

The series is hosted on Zoom and is designed to create a supportive, proactive space for artists, cultural sector workers, community leaders, and, of course, the public to come together to ask and reflect on the many questions facing us at this monumental moment.
