My Last NH48: Zealand, Bonds Traverse

We'll be hiking the Zealand Bonds Traverse. On this traverse, we'll be reaching several points of interests, including Zealand Falls, Zeacliff, Zealand Mountain, Guyot, West Bond, Bond, Bondcliff, and Franconia Falls. The plan is to start at the Zealand Tralhead early in the morning and finish at the Lincoln Woods Trailhead. We'll have to car spot in order for this route to be possible. One car is going to be parked at the Lincoln Woods Trailhead and the other will be at the Zealand Trailhead. We'll drop off a car first at the Lincoln Woods Trailhead first followed by driving up together to the Zealand Trailhead.

Total distance: 19 miles

Elevation gain: 4015 ft.

Hiking pace: ~2 mph

Gear:

1) Trail runners or hiking boots

2) Headlamp

3) 4 liters of water or water bladder plus water filter

4) Electrolytes

4) Food

5) Hat, non-cotton layers, etc.

7) Hiking poles (recommended)

N.B. This is a very long and strenuous hike. Make sure you are comfortable with the hiking pace, distance and elevation. If your Ridj-it profile is bare, please comment your recent hiking experience
