"My Dad isn't Danny DeVito" is a one person show about an unraveling family secret. Growing up, all Anthony DeVito knew about his Dad was how he died before he was born. At 18, Anthony's Mom told him the truth about his father. But 10 years later, he learned she hadn't told him the whole truth. Kept quiet since he was 18, he's opening what he's guarded for most of his life. Asking himself the question "would I be a different person if my father lived?" Offering up an intimate conversation about nurture versus nature, identity, childhood and Italian masculinity performed by one of NYC's most moderately successful stand up comedians.
