Yes, Mustard! The oft overlooked condiment that kids shudder at and Germans love! Just in time for all of your Labor Day Weekend BBQ needs! We boast an extensive collection of American, French, and Canadian Mustards and absolutely love the different flavors and varieties presented. In this class we will be trying 5 different mustard's with delicious accompaniments from our cafe and cheese counter including freshly baked pretzel bites, cured meats and cheeses. Vegetarian? No problem, we've got you covered! We will also be talking a bit about how mustard is made, some of its historical origins, and some fun facts about todays mustard production. Did you know that Canada grows around 75% of the worlds mustard seed?! Does beer mustard actually have beer in it? Why is some mustard yellow and some mustard purple?! This class is non-alcoholic, but beer and ciders will be available for purchase throughout the class. Taught by Allium owner and founder, Talia Glass with help from our mustard - loving Cheesemongers.
