The band is playing two sets on Saturday November 3rd at 2PM at the site of what has been known as the UnCommon Coffeehouse. It's a nice space, and we'll be playing some great tunes from artists like Horace Silver, Lee Morgan, and Herbie Hancock. The band's playing music from the hard bop era, very appropriate for the times, since it began during another era when political and social change was prevalent. We'll have a rhythm section with tenor and trombone or trumpet up front, and a few guest vocalists. You are welcome to bring food, we'll have some tables set up in addition to seating nearer to the action. It's open to all, including kids, and is in a wheelchair accessible facility just off of the Framingham Commons.
