Alex Fam is a spirited folk singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, known for her spontaneity, violin accompaniment, audience participation, and uplifting lyrics. Alex performs regularly with her trio The Alex Fam Collective, a folk trio of three friends and experienced musicians who love making music together. As a trio, they masterfully incorporate three part harmonies, improvisation, audience participation, uplifting songs, and impressive instrumentals including piano, guitar, and violin. https://alexjanefam.bandcamp.com/album/come-close-2


Noelle Micarelli is a dulcimerist, guitarist, and songwriter based in MA. A storyteller above all, Noelle’s work explores gender, selfhood, and the imagination in a uniquely clear folk style described by Metronome Magazine as ‘truly brilliant.’ Noelle studied drama at Hampshire College and lives in Boston. http://noellemicarelli.bandcamp.com/


Coming off the release of their debut album “There’s No Such Thing as Ghosts” in May 2019, Beacon for Spirits pursue the creation of uncompromisingly emotional, thematic and colorful music. In this endeavor they defy and transcend genre-boundaries, drawing from across the musical spectrum – with a sonic basis in intimate and lyrical singer-songwriter music and folk like Joni Mitchell, but with a tendency towards the vibrantly creative and harmonious composition styles of art rock/pop like Radiohead and Björk, and the impassioned, almost theatrical grandiosity of genres like post-rock and progressive rock – Beacon for Spirits dip their brush in a vast and varied palette, and the image that listeners are left with is profoundly emotive and uniquely moving. Formed originally by lead singer Riley Curda and guitarist Charlie Giargiari in 2018, Beacon for Spirits craft a style of music possibly described as “Dream Folk” or “Art Folk”, and in their trio incarnation they are joined by Louise Cameron, who provides violin and vocal harmonies, firmly indulging their folk sensibilities. https://www.facebook.com/beaconforspiritsmusic/
