With COVID-19 cases on the rise, the Museum is closed temporarily with expected reopening in early January, 2021.


We reopen September 26! All MFA visitors need timed-entry tickets online in advance, including members.


A limited number of galleries and exhibitions will be open, and temporarily closed galleries will continue to reopen as we reconfigure spaces and traffic routes for safe and socially distant visits. See Gallery Updates for the most up-to-date information.

Wednesday–Sunday: 10 am–5 pm
Closed January 1, April 15, July 4, November 26, and December 25
Member Mornings: Last Sunday of each month, 10 am–Noon
Reserved hours for high-risk visitors: Thursdays, 10–11 am
