Mudville Madrigal Singers Spring Concert

The Mudville Madrigal Singers, an a cappella ensemble, came into being when a small group of musicians - all residents of the historic "Mudville" neighborhood of Holliston, MA - started singing together in 1993.

Currently the group’s members hail from several greater Boston communities, and their performance calendar includes yearly concerts in Holliston as well as appearances in other western suburbs including Wellesley, Natick, Weston, Arlington, and more. Performing a wide variety of music for unaccompanied voices, the group has been praised for their sumptuous blend and diverse programming. The 10-voice ensemble is equally at home singing Renaissance madrigals, sacred works from Palestrina to Poulenc, part-songs from across Europe, traditional spirituals, or jazzy selections from the American songbook.
