Presenter Mike Cherim, owner of Redline Guiding, will give two virtual tours of climbing Mt Rainier via the "DC" (Disappointment Cleaver) Route from two trips where he was working as a guide, one in 2014 and one in 2015. Mike will take you up, step by step offering photos from both trips. Learn what it's like, where the dangers are, what goes through one's head, what an extreme alpine start feels like, especially when awaken by a house-size serac or ice block falling into a crevasse nearby, and more.
