We'll be hiking Mount Adams and Mount Madison in a 10 mi loop. This loop is arguably one of the best hikes in the White Mountains. With a lot of elevation gain, scrambling, and endless views as you reach the treeline, this will be a long but incredible day. On the way up, we'll take the Valley Way trail to summit Mount Madison. Then we will summit Mount Adams and make our way down using the Airline Trail which is slightly more gradual descent compared to Valley Way. The total distance of this hike is 10 miles in a loop. We'll follow the loop in a clockwise direction. Beer and dinner will follow after this hike.


Due to the difficulty of this hike, you must have done a hike with at least 4,000 ft. of elevation gain recently. If you don't have any experience listed on your Ridj-it profile, please comment on what hikes you have done recently. Do not sign up you until you get approval by me. If you sign up without approval, you will be removed from the trip. You must also have all of the gear listed for this trip.

Snacks and lunch. You will be burning a lot of energy!

Only sign up for this hike if you're interested. Cancelling last minute or not showing up on the day of the hike without a valid reason is unacceptable (both carpoolers and non-carpoolers). By doing that, you're preventing someone else who wanted to join the trip to be able to go and can also lead to the cancellation of the entire trip. If you flake frequently without a valid reason (eg. unforeseen conflict), it will impact your ability to join future trips organized by me.
