This May, local nonprofit Heart Hive invites you to a special Mother's Day edition of our monthly ecstatic dance gathering. In honor of the nurturers, the life-givers, the creators—this event will be lovingly facilitated by mothers, for all beings ready to root deep and rise high.
We begin with a playful and nourishing Yoga Play Warmup led by one of Heart Hive’s founders, Mariya Shiyko—mother, mover, and mystic. Mariya will guide us into our bodies with laughter, breath, and intentional movement to awaken the joy within.
Then we move into a soul-stirring Ecstatic Dance Journey guided by the one and only EIR ([ˈɛir] – The Sonic Seamtress), the musical creation of Alexandra Freyer. A nomadic vocalist, DJ, sound healer, and producer, EIR crafts a bridge from earth to sky with ancient melodies and soul-filled electronic rhythms. Let yourself be moved, uplifted, and transformed as you dance in communion with community.
We’ll close the evening wrapped in serenity with a Soundscape Healing led by EIR, featuring singing bowls and sacred sound to bring us home.
