Foundry on Elm will celebrate Mother’s Day in Davis Square with an expansive brunch buffet fit to satisfy the queen in everyone’s lives. Designed to please the palates of the whole family, executive chef Shayne Nunes will dish out the following hot delights: made-to-order omelet station with assorted veggies, cheeses and meats; carving stations including prime rib and horseradish cream and brown sugar-mustard roasted ham with pineapple sauce; country scrambled eggs with chiffonade chives; baked French toast with maple brown sugar brûlée; house beignets with lemon curd and chocolate sauce; strawberry cream cheese crêpes with fresh strawberries and powdered sugar; smoked gouda & cheddar mac ‘n cheese casserole with maple bacon lardons; fried chicken and buttermilk biscuits with spicy sausage gravy; sweet potato and red quinoa vegetarian “hash” with baby kale, bell peppers, asparagus, and avocado crema; country home fries with caramelized onions; bacon; and, maple sausages.


For cold platters and pastries, chef Nunes will serve up Foundry’s mixed greens with heirloom cherry tomatoes, cucumber and Granny Smith apples in a red wine vinaigrette; a “Picnic Platter” with assorted meats, cheeses, Concord grapes, jam, mustard, pickles and olives; a seasonal fruit platter with pineapple, honeydew, cantaloupe, blood oranges and berries; a house lox station with assorted bagels, red onions, capers and dill cream cheese; and, house granola with Greek vanilla yogurt.


To end the brunch experience with something sweet, there will be blueberry and white chocolate scones; fresh banana bread; lemon squares; carrot cakes with cream cheese frosting; and, dark chocolate truffles.


Additionally, Foundry on Elm will offer a limited a la carte bar menu with signature items such as the USDA Prime Burger, Smoky Grilled Cheese and Tomato Basil Soup, Bacon & Egg Pizzetta and Poutine Madame.
