Would you have enjoyed living on a big country estate in the early 1800s? Take a Moonlight Tour at Gore Place and find out. Gore Place will offer Moonlight Tours on Friday, September 27 at 7:30 p.m. You’ll see the 1793 carriage house, walk the grounds and tour the 1806 mansion, one of the few early homes designed by a woman. Admission is $18. You can buy advance tickets by visiting www.goreplace.org. Or, you can buy tickets at the door. Moonlight Tours begin in the Carriage House. Doors open at 7:00 p.m.
