Monthly Passholders Can Bring a Friend for $1 on Weekends

On weekends, monthly Commuter Rail passholders can bring a friend with them on any trip their pass covers for $1 each way. The discount is limited to one single companion per passholder and does not apply to Boston Stadium trains, CapeFLYER, or special event trains.


How to get your discount: $1 tickets can be bought in the mTicket app, either by the passholder or the companion, and will be validated by an onboard conductor.
