This unforeseen moment in time may allow space and opportunity to turn inward, reflect, study, and access what we want to put into the world. With this groundbreaking new program, Down Under is excited to offer you a chance to do just that – dive in, tune in, expand your knowledge and discover the practical skills of yoga in this new normal.
Now is the time to make a powerful shift in your life, whether you want to become a yoga teacher, advance your own personal practice, or join a community of students on a quest for transformation. This foundational training and yogic immersion will advance your practice, provide the fundamentals tools for teaching yoga, awaken your voice in all aspects of life and leadership, and connect you to a vibrant community of mentors, scholars, and fellow seekers on the path of learning and self-study – all through a virtual livestream platform.
Students looking to deepen their practice and explore specific topics within yoga can enroll in individual modules or take all four modules together for a 200 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher certificate.
Module 1 (May 18–29): The Body & The Practice with Ryan Cunningham and Danielle Doyle.
Module 2 (Jun 1–12): The Method of Teaching with Gregor Singleton and Marina Traub
Module 3 (Jun 15-26): Yogic Studies & Ethics with Ryan Cunningham and Kate Robinson
Module 4 (Jun 29–Jul 10): The Spectrum of Yoga with Kate Robinson and Marina Traub
We will be offering two scholarships for this program: One will be our POC Scholarship that is open to anyone who self-identifies as a person of color. The second scholarship is need-based for someone who is from an underserved community or is currently in a financial situation that makes them unable to afford this training. Learn more about the application, pricing, and scholarships on our website.
