A creative jewelry design class focusing on a classic earring style, the hoop and giving it a modern twist! Students will be guided through the design process and technical steps in making a pair of modern hoops. As time allows, students will design and fabricate their own hoops with learned design and metalworking skills obtained in class.
This class is designed for anyone to be successful, whether you are a beginner or experienced metalsmith. Beginners welcome!
Class will cover jewelry basics such as design, sawing metalnand finishing techniques. Students can expect to make 1 or 2 pairs of earrings.
This is a fun and safe environment for all!!
