Minni Make + Play virtual workshops are designed to keep little ones ages 1.5–5 creating from the comfort of home. Each themed workshop focuses on skill development, simple repurposed materials and unique ways to engage with our environments.


In Minni Make + Play – Sparkly Salt Paintings (virtual) students and caregivers will learn about lines and color while creating paintings that glitter in the sun. Instructor Maria will begin with a book reading before showing students how to paint with simple table salt and watercolor.


Materials Needed
Watercolor paper, cardstock or cardboard
Any kind of drawing tool, such as oil pastels, crayons, colored pencils or markers
Elmer’s Glue (be sure it’s the kind in the squeeze bottle)
Salt in a shaker or in a bowl with a spoon
Watercolor or water with food coloring
Paint brush, Q-Tip, or pipette to apply paint
