Add some animation to your day with our ComicShop WorkShop, an all-call for cartoonists young and younger alike. Bring original heroes and villains to life under the illustrative expertise of instructor Zoe; students will be guided through the process of storytelling and paneling to the ultimate creation of their own mini-comics. Even the looniest participants will delight in the transformation of simple white boxes into colorful, suspenseful and visual stories.
About Zoe
Zoe Schein is a freelance illustrator, writer, and educator hailing from Central Illinois and living and working in Boston, Massachusetts. She earned her MA in Art + Design Education from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2017, and her BA in Gender, Women's, and Sexuality Studies from Grinnell College in 2012. Schein's artistic work emphasizes visual storytelling and narrative, with particular emphasis on comics, integrated graphic essays, pen-and-ink illustration, and printmaking. She delights in teaching.
