Join us for a guided meditation series at the Rose Art Museum inspired by the exhibition Danielle Mckinney: Tell Me More. Mckinney describes her sumptuous paintings as portals to explore the self, the soul, and freedom within one’s own space.


Led by Kien Le, these 30-minute meditations will focus on the concept of rest, as articulated by the artist’s words: “I’ve never seen Black women resting in paintings, so it’s really beautiful.” “For me, silence is something I really value a lot, that ability to slow down.” “Art was my safe place.”


Space is limited to 15 participants.
