Join us for a special First Friday event hosted in partnership with City Awake as part of F.U.N - Fierce Urgency of Now, a festival designed to highlight the experiences of, challenges and possibilities for millennials of color in Boston.


The evening will be a curated social experience for attendees to celebrate the African Diaspora and be in community with diverse millennials in a world-renowned museum.


Get inspired by the powerful poses and beautiful patterns of artist Kehinde Wiley’s work, then strike a pose in front of an Instax camera to recreate your favorite portrait in the Museum. In an art-making activity, use your portrait to build and decorate your own collage!


Plus, enjoy food and drink specials, a photo booth and giveaways made possible by Chase, proud lead sponsor of MFA First Fridays.


Open to visitors 21+. Valid ID with proof of age required for entry. Free for members and free with Museum admission! Order your tickets now to secure your spot at our monthly weekend kickoff. Advance tickets are strongly suggested as the event can sell out.
