Massachusetts Military Heroes Fund has made the difficult decision to cancel the large volunteer flag garden on Boston Common this year. We ask members of the Commonwealth to help us replicate our Boston Common tribute in cities and towns across our state. Supporters can participate in a “Virtual Flag Garden” by downloading and printing our flag graphic from our web site, and placing it in windows over Memorial Day weekend, along with any available flags on front lawns. We would be honored if you could post selfies and videos showing this support. Just please tag our social media accounts with #HeroesFlagGarden (found on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter @MAMilHeroes) or send us your post so we can share.

Help us reach our goal of displaying at least 37,309 flags in windows and yards across the Commonwealth, honoring every fallen service member from the Revolutionary War to the present. Together, we can send a powerful message of support to bereaved military families that even in difficult times, we remember and honor our fallen heroes.
