The WaWa Project has teamed up with food and drink artisans, from around the nation, to raise funds for our scholars, provide live - virtual cooking classes, and support the artisan who is dazzling us with their skills! Alyanna will be teaching us how to professionally decorate a cake! As the holidays approach, join us and learn some skills from Alyanna. This session is great for the entire family, so bring your kids into the kitchen to join in the fun. In addition to the live session on the 25th of October, you will receive a recorded video walking you through the steps of making the cake beforehand. The cake needs to be completely cooled before decorating.
Alyanna was born north of Boston and currently lives in Newton. She has baked many wedding cakes, cupcakes, delicate pastries, breads and more. Here is what Alyanna has to say “Baking is important to me because so many celebrations and life moments take place surrounding a cake. It brings me a lot of joy to see people get excited about something that I baked for them to enjoy. Vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream is the go-to birthday cake. My favorite!”
Purchase your access to the live, virtual class here and then you will be able to register to join us on Zoom!
