Meet the Winemaker: Patrick O'Brien of Fieldhand Wine at Bonde Fine Wines

Come join us for a special Wine Tasting Class in our Winemaker Series with Patrick O'Brien, founder of Fieldhand Vineyards.

Fieldhand Vineyards is a singular project dedicated to reviving neglected backyard vineyards across Napa and Sonoma. A self-taught winemaker and organic farmer, Patrick does nearly all the labor himself—farming by hand, making the wine, and splitting the results with the landowners. His fresh, low-alcohol wines are a vibrant throwback to pre-Parker Napa Cabs: acid-driven, un-oaked, and deeply expressive of place. With a vision rooted in stewardship and sustainability, Patrick is building something rare—authentic, personal, and full of soul. Fieldhand is more than a wine label; it’s a reclamation of both land and tradition.

We'll taste a special selection of Patrick's wines and learn about his story taking him from his native Rhode Island to Californian vineyards. This event will take place the shop, with an small an intimate setting, and is limited to 10 participants.
