Join us for a very special in-depth tasting and discussion with one of our favorite Burgundian producers. We will speak with Hubert Lestime, of Chassagne-Montrachet's renowned Domaine Jean-Noel Gagnard. We'll talk about the wines and terroir of Burgundy, particularly the vineyards of Chassagne-Montrachet, and the domaine's approach to organic and biodynamic viticulture.
We will have the opportunity to taste through some of the domaine's spectacular Premier Cru wines, as we delve into the particulars of vineyard plots, soil types, vintage characteristics and cellar practices. This is an opportunity to travel to Burgundy with an insider's perspective, and to taste examples of white (Chardonnay) and red (Pinot Noir) Burgundies that are almost impossible to find in the United States. You'll even have the option of ordering directly from the producer if you wish.
This class will be offered Online through Zoom. Tasting Kits are available for pick up at our school if you select the Online with Tasting Kit registration option.
