Join us for the next “Meet Your Author” event at Lovestruck Books. This events series gives you the opportunity to meet with your favorite author, purchase books directly from them, and have your copy signed!

This signing on Saturday, May 31 from 3-5 PM will feature Aashna Avachat, Caroline Frank, Cat Scully, Dawn Aurora Hunt, and Elle Thrasher with copies of their recent release as well as an assortment of backlist titles.

This event is free but we ask you to RSVP on eventbrite to attend.


ABOUT AASHNA AVACHAT

Aashna Avachat is a young adult author from California who has worked in publishing since college. She studied English and Philosophy at the University of California, Berkeley, and law at Harvard Law School. When she’s not writing, she’s probably reading on a sunny patch of grass, going on long walks to grocery stores, or hanging out with one of her many foster kittens. Love Craves Cardamom is her debut novel.


ABOUT CAROLINE FRANK

Caroline is a Venezuelan indie author and self-proclaimed shoe addict who currently resides in Pennsylvania with her husband and two crazy cats, Señor Kitty and Salem.

She spends her days reading, writing, and biking. Caroline’s favorite things include the first sip of a Coke on a hot day, crocheting, and using self-deprecating humor to get through the day. Though she always planned to eventually take over the world, Caroline thinks writing fun stories every day is pretty freaking awesome and plan to continue to do so for the foreseeable future.


ABOUT CAT SCULLY

Cat Scully is a queer author-illustrator, passionate about writing horror, gothic romance, and dark fantasy for all ages. She is the author of the upcoming horror novel BELOW THE GRAND HOTEL (2025) and she is the author-illustrator of young adult horror series JENNIFER STRANGE (2020), which author Paul Tremblay called "a promising debut." She's best known for her intricate illustrations, including world maps for the BROOKLYN BRUJA series by Zoraida Cordova, KAGAN THE DAMNED by Jonathan Maberry, and GIVE THE DARK MY LOVE by Beth Revis. Her first picture book, THE MAYOR OF HALLOWEEN IS MISSING, was written by Emily S. Sullivan. Originally from Atlanta, GA, she now lives outside of Salem, MA and is the owner of Haints and Hollows spooky cute accessories and home decor. 


ABOUT DAWN AURORA HUNT

Dawn Aurora Hunt has been a practicing Kitchen Witch for over 20 years. Growing up in an Italian family, she learned how food and love were completely inseparable. Once discovering the path of Kitchen Witchery her studies of magic focused on creating recipes that would glean magical and energetic results by understanding the innate energies of ingredients. This is an idea she calls Spiritual Nutrition. Spiritual Nutrition is a term Hunt uses in her writing and teaching to unlock these energies held within ingredients as well as connect to the Earth, Seasons and Deities through cooking.

Over the last 12 years Dawn has been teaching and writing on the topics of Kitchen Witchery, Spiritual Nutrition and Food Magic. Her recent works include A Kitchen Witch’s Guide to Recipes for Love and Romance, and Kitchen Witchcraft for Beginners. Teaching and demonstrating the simplicity and practicality of Kitchen Witchcraft are her passions. Her popular class “Food for Thought; using simple ingredients for divination” propelled her to begin working on an Oracle deck so that people could more deeply connect with the Spiritual Nutrition of everyday ingredients. The Kitchen Witch’s Culinary Oracle Deck was published in February 2025 by Rizzoli International, a division of Penguin Random House. 


ABOUT ELLE THRASHER

Elle Thrasher is an author of romantic fantasy books. Her books are filled with relatable heroines, swoon-worthy heroes, lots of laughs, and locations that will give you wanderlust. While she’s originally from the UK, and lived in Norway for seven years too, Elle now lives in the US with her husband and one very fluffy dog. When not writing, she can usually be found drinking a cup of tea, staring at her never-ending tbr, or taking a joke waaaaay too far.
