In recent years we have witnessed remarkable material and technological progress, but there has not been a corresponding increase in human happiness and inner peace. We can still suffer from worry, anxiety and uncertainty about the future.
This class will explore mindfulness methods, ways of thinking, and specific meditation topics derived from Buddha's teachings that will help us to become fearless in the face of adversity and unpredictable life events.
October 1 - How to begin meditation
October 8 - The flexible mind of patience
