Meditation, Patience & Buddhist Psychology
Tuesdays, March 3, 10 and 17
7:00-8:00pm
Patient acceptance is an inner strength that helps us grow through life’s challenges. Without it, even small difficulties can leave us feeling anxious, frustrated, or disconnected. When we understand the real meaning and power of patience, we can approach life’s ups and downs with greater confidence and peace.
In this series of classes, we’ll explore Buddhist teachings and guided meditations that help us cultivate genuine patience—strengthening our inner calm, emotional resilience, and ability to maintain harmony in our relationships.
Gen Khedrub, a western Buddhist monk for over 30 years, will explain how anyone can begin a practice of meditation on their own and learn to improve their practice of patience.
Location: This class will be held at Newton South High School, 140 Brandeis Rd, Newton, MA 02459.
Course Tuition: $99
How to register? This class is offered in partnership with Newton Community Education. You will need to register directly via the Newton Community Education website here: https://newtoncommunityed.asapconnected.com/#CourseID=319744
