Join Boston Armizare at the Charlestown Branch of the BPL to learn all about historical duels––with a live demonstration!


Boston Armizare, a historical fencing club based in Brighton, will be giving a lecture and demonstration on the techniques used in medieval and renaissance duels. Attendees will learn about the reasons people would fight one another and the manuals duelists would use to prepare themselves, and will also witness live fights with the longsword, rapier and dagger, and sword and buckler.
